Job Description

Marine Travelift in Sturgeon Bay, WI is excited to be adding full-time CNC Bender Operator to our 1^st shift team. As part of the leading boat handling equipment manufacturer, you are responsible for operating and maintaining the CNC Bending Machine to produce metal components according to specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up CNC bending machine according to specified requirements. Load necessary tooling, select appropriate programs, and adjust machine settings.
• Load metal tubes onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and clamping to prevent slippage during the bending process.
• Start & monitor the CNC bending machine during the production process. Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify dimensions and angles.
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Job Qualifications

• Previous CNC Operator experience is preferred
• Reading blueprints is a plus
• Previous mechanical experience preferred
• There is high attention to detail required with this role
• Must be able to follow verbal and written work instructions in English
• Regular attendance required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
