What are we looking for?

Marine Travelift is excited to be adding a full-time Buyer to our Purchasing Department. As a buyer with Marine Travelift you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

As our Buyer, you will…

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to optimize cost savings.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with internal departments to assess purchasing needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Resolve supplier issues, such as delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

We are looking for you to…

• Have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Have proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Have strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Have experience working in a manufacturing setting
